 1) Identify the different 'types' of content in the magazine i.e. health:

Throughout the magazine there are different types of content found the majority of the content found are advertisements and chat columns. After looking at a number of magazines in the majority of them all of the content is the same. You see constant adverts such as Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and many more famous brands.

2) Discuss the layout of the page. From your analysis what gender and type of person is this magazine for?
This magazine in my opinion is aimed at women to tell them what to dress as and how they should look. I believe that women would look at these magazines for tips and just to see the gossip of the present. In the picture we was given of the contents page we can see a shoe, a blonde women with an upright figure blonde hair and a red top, this color indicates sexual interest. Some of the Content shown on the page also indicates women should follow everything the magazine says. "What You'll be wearing next summer" Is not just what will you be wearing they are telling you "What You Will be wearing Next summer" This may be to push women around or just to give them the insight to what the fashion would be next year.

3) How would someone hope to benefit from buying this magazine?
Someone would hope to benefit from this as it gives people something to read, whether its about Celebrities, clothes or what is going on in the world. People mainly women would find these magazines interesting due to being able to see gossip and new fashion and makeup tips. People gain enjoyment out of this for many different reasons.

Music Video Research Task

Lily Allen - Hard out here shows the typical women in music videos, it is highly provocative and shows how women are portreyed in videos at its peak. In the video it starts with Lily Allen having treatment (Lyposuction) the video moves to a stage where Women are moving in ways you would find in Pornography, the women during the video lick there hands and perform sedictive motions that include them stroking breasts and rubbing the vaginal area.

My second video shows Women being treated in a way where they are not treated and looked at sexualy and have class. Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the heart shows a women with clothes on throughout the video.Bonnie Tyler is looked upon in the video by topless men as an object of desire but is more classy and have a more appropriate look for the viewers.

In many rap videos women have no identity except as sexual playthings and "eye candy
it represents a typical women in most music videos to the present day.
A lot the time the women in these videos are treated as sex slaves by the artist, In videos like Candy shop you see a number of women dressed in Thongs and Bra's trying to get with the artist in a provocative manor. The women in videos are usually thrown out the way for the main girl to be shown, this also places the other women as unwanted and basically have no meaning or identity to the video, rendering them use less,thus leaving them only as eye candy.
The main girl will then be shown in the video with the artist the majority of the time. This would include explicit scenes showing the girl dancing on the artist or touching him in a sexual way. 

In these videos Men are the dominating gender showing the women weak and worthless.
Overall I believe that the way women are treated in these videos is vulgar and unpleasant to both them and the viewer.

In this music video Justin is showed as a huge attraction to women, as a role model to people and a massive icon. At the start of the video there are 2 girls in a car watching a Justin Bieber video. Over the entire video you see, fast expensive cars,good looking women and men sexually attracted to the women. In a comparison to other videos, this one shows a lot more respect towards women, the men are not all over the women but are attracted, the women are in decent clothes not just a bikini and knickers. In this video the women look a little more classy other than ones in the more recent music, as example would be Blurred Lines.

The song candy shop is highly provocative, it has sexual references in the song as well. Some of the references are lick on my Lollipop, and pointing towards his private area.  Also " If you show me you can work baby, you can get on top."


Another aspect of this video is the way women are portrayed, in nearly all the scenes of the music video women have tight tops on and some tight latex to make parts of there body be the focus. This music video also implies that women are highly seductive and very sexually active. It means that all women should behave and perform in a sexually provocative manor that in public would be unacceptable.

Again in the video shows the average male who once again in rapping videos have The big coats and the Bling Bling such as chains around their necks on show. furthermore there are the expensive sports cars on show, this also implies that men should be rich and be able to purchase the expensive gold chains and Fast sports cars.

Most men and women are not how music videos show them to be, and the majority of the population would disagree with the way that the women are highly provocative and sexually infused in the way they look as tho they are trying to seduce the male members of the video.

Time School

My image looks like a time vortex, it has a blend of science fiction colors and shows a school merging into the vortex to travel through time.

The time school is a place where children go to study every aspect of history, the best part about it is that they get to live every moment by traveling in time.

In my image I have used the smudge tool to blend the brighter colors with the darker colors. There are many different layers on my image but i have mainly focused on making the vortex realistic. I have made the color of the school layer a blue color and made it slightly transparent to allow us to see the school. I've finally added a glow to the School to make it look as tho it's traveling in time.

I dont have the picture and i cant get it from frog server!!!!

Denotation and Connotation album cover Homework

1)

Denotation: I can see a skeleton and a hell spawn/demon I also see Fire and Blood Writing from the picture i can also see that the skeleton has control over the demon.

Connotation: From what i can see Iron Maiden is a violent and hardcore rock band that show interest in the dark arts/satanic ways.

Denotation:

I can see the American flag, a man with jeans and a tucked in white t-shirt with what looks like a bra in his back pocket and the words Born in the USA and The Artist.

Connotation: 

From looking at the cover it tells us that America is all about skinny Jeans Shot T-Shirts and Taking Women's Clothing.

My birthday

Home work diary 1

Friday:
On Friday i used a few different forms of media, I started my day reading the newspaper when I woke up in the morning to see the News of the world. On the way to school I used my iPhone to check Facebook before school, just to check up on Local News and Friends. At school I used the Macs in Music to learn about The Blues. When i got home I used my computer to play World Of Warcraft as I had a raid with my Guild.

Saturday I woke up and used my iPhone to check the time, I went and got a drink from my water dispenser on my fridge, I went onto my computer and played my computer from 10am till 12am not afternoon Morning One day to the next. During that time I raided on World Of Warcraft and Killed the boss Sha of Anger with my guild.

Saturday I woke up and watched the complete Box-Set of Chucky Movies, it took me till around 6pm, After watching all these movies I went onto World Of Warcraft and Raided with my guild from 7pm-10:30pm. When i finished I used my phone to check the time and Facebook then set my alarm for Morning.

Monday:
On Monday I used my iPhone alarm and got ready while watching the television at school I used the macs in media to write the Waterloo road entry, then in music I completed a task on main stage to perform the 12 bar blues. When I got home I watched the television and went to bed.

Tuesday 

On Tuesday I used my phone to check the time when my mum woke me up, read the newspaper then went to school. At school I looked at some images in media and them denotations and connotations I didn't use anymore media at school I went home and used Skype to talk to a friend for 2 hours and then played world of Warcraft where I defeated death wing in the dragon soul raid!

What type of school is waterloo road????

Waterloo Road is a secondary school where the pupils are vandals and teachers don't care
From the first 1:38 seconds we can see that the school has its own drug supplier, we found this as one child exchanges what looks to be drugs for cash in form of a fist bump.
The teachers also smoked in-front of students in the playground, and we left off finding the headmaster who looked as tho he had lost all sanity throwing school books of the roof.
Moving into the school the walls in the corridors were bare and had no signs of School work or achievement.

In the playground we can see one student walking around with a hockey stick and greeting many people in the first section of the program. Also there was a window being smashed at he very start, the effect of the song "I predict a riot" Has emphasis on the fact the school is a complete nightmare.
Girl students in the school were dancing in a sexual way in-front of other students.
Maybe with all this on a daily basis is the cause of insanity shown by the head teacher.
